Inside the 10 Corso Como store in New York – Prestigious store 10 Corso Como has a new location in New York. The Milanese retail interior design shop opened its door in September last year in Seaport District, Lower Manhattan, and it’s already the home for some design-related events.
In what used to be market is now the most recent shop for the Italian interior design brand. The renovation of the area was a way to revitalise the neighbourhood and now, on the ground floor of the Fulton Building, is the 28,000-square-foot space for all things design.
The store has black and white interiors and carries the brand’s circular motifs. This is the first US outpost of the retail concept and in here you can find fashion, furniture, homeware and other design accessories.
Like the Milan based original store created in 1990 by fashion editor Carla Sozzani, the New York instalment has an Italian café and restaurant, a gallery, and sell clothing, design objects and books.
Maintaining its loyalty to one of the brand’s signature looks, the shop plays with circular motifs and round elements. Metallic round lights cover the entire monochromatic store. The merchandise is displayed on glass tables and it has upholstery black and white covers for shoppers to relax while marvelling at the interior design store.
