Apple is growing unabated in China, which is leading to the opening of new stores in major urban centers of China. The latest to open its doors was the Apple Store located in Jiefangbei and to celebrate the ocasion, the US company released a video showing how the cylindrical wall surrounding the entrance to the store was made.
A couple of weeks ago, the guys from Cupertino opened an Apple Store in Hangzhou, a city with about 9 million. And just a week after the doors opened another store in Chongqing, a city that has 7.5 million inhabitants and is located in the center of the largest city in all of China (nearly 30 million).
To the store Hangzhou, the US company left in the hands of Wang Dongling the creation of a mural that covered the store until his inauguration. On this occasion, Apple have opted for another two artists to draw up another mural for the entrance of the Apple Store Jiefangbei.
As we see in the video below that lasts about two minutes, the apple company have had the painter Yang Yang Pan and photographer Navid Baraty to make this mural. In this “Making of”, artists tell how the idea of decorating the Apple Store arose.
Both Pan as Baraty point out that the city of Chongqing was a great source of inspiration when developing this mural accompanying the Apple Store Jiefangbei. Definitely a great job that has resulted in a true work of art.
