The store has two floors features man and women’s collections, ready-to-wear, accessories as well other essentials: Patterned scarves and smirking skull jewelry. Designed by Sarah Burton, the home artistic director, in partnership with David Collins Studio, the new store comes in a palette of gray, lilac, white and gold.
Decorated with Calacatta Oro, a cracked white marble floor, gray leather furniture and black lacquer finish, the store has many advantages that make it a unique shopping space, including the artwork of the contemporary artists Takeo Hanazawa and Takao Togashi, suspended from the ceiling and hanged in the center of the staircase.
The walls are covered with plaster, and you can see a panel with a wing pattern, shells, cactus flowers, seahorses, skulls, gargoyles and leaves.
This is sufficient to say that the store was built in the image of its creator: provocative and eccentric.
