Get Ready For Unique Design Ideas At Lisboa Design Show And Intercasa – Lisboa Design Show (LXD) is the largest design event in the areas of Product Design, Fashion Design and Interiors Design, currently held in Portugal. This year, the event is back for its 8th edition and will occur in Feira Internacional de Lisboa (FIL – International Fair in Lisbon), from 18 to 22 October. During the same period, FIL will also host three other events: Intercasa, Salão Imobiliário de Portugal and Vintage Festival.

Considered to be the perfect platform for the launch of new projects, with new concepts and products presentation, and focused on young designers, emerging brands and startups, it gathers annually more than 300 designers and brands and welcomes more than 55,000 potential buyers. In addition to the exhibition area, during the 5-day event, LXD presents a dynamic schedule with pitches for brands, talks, conferences and several fashion shows. The fashion shows – TRENDS LXD, for Portuguese brands and designers, and Africa Fashion, for African brands and stylists – are great moments of the event, where the creativity of the designers surprises the audience, and where the new features will surely be immense.
In each edition, the Lisboa Design Show seeks to introduce new designers, new projects and concepts. With the mission to promote design as a competitive and differentiating factor of products and organizations, the Lisboa Design Show stands out as the only design event held in Portugal in the business branch. As a multidisciplinary and creative event, LXD aims to communicate the identity of designers, companies, cultures and society, expressing various lifestyles, the pleasure and the art of living, fostering the increase of the networking and good deals, in a space that puts the design as the center of discussion and on the agenda of the players and promoters of the sector.

Intercasa 2017 will take place in Feira Internacional de Lisboa (FIL – International Fair in Lisbon) between 18 and 22 October, under the motto “Make your house the best home in the world”. For more than four decades, the event has received enthusiastic design and decoration visitors. In this 2017 edition, and happening at the same time as Salão Imobiliário de Lisboa (Lisbon Real Estate Exhibition), it aims to create synergies between the two events and boost business with a new audience – the target of real estate sector.
Moreover, the event bets in decoration and “do-it-yourself” workshops, and “Ask a professional” sessions, as well as a show-cooking space – Be HOME CHEF – with a wide schedule of cooking and tasting sessions, providing the audience with a different experience of living their own kitchen. In this edition, more than a hundred brands will expose their products and feature suggestions and concepts. More than 55,000 people are expected to visit the trade fair this year, among architects, decorators and other professionals related to the industry, besides the general public.
