Interior Design Shops prepared a sneak preview of some of the 25 luxury French brands with the label (AF) l’Ameublement française at Maison et Objet 2017.
May French Design be the expression of good taste? An operation piloted by the Ameublement française and the VIA (Valorisation de l’Innovation dans l’Ameublement) sets out to prove and spread the awareness of French expertise around the world with a committee of 40 personalities from the creative industries.
They identified the ten core values of design ‘à la française’: equilibrium, an alliance between creativity and industry, audacity and panache, lifestyle, elegance, heritage and cultural openness, a touch of luxury and exceptional know-how…
An exhibition designed by Jean-Charles de Castelbajac will illustrate each of these values. Before it heads to distant shores next April, visitors to M&O PARIS can enjoy a sneak preview of the event. The circuit will present a curated selection from amongst the 25 French furniture specialists exhibiting at the show.
