Kartell made its name in plastic furniture designs that are as functional as they are stylistically fresh and bold. Iconic designs such as Philippe Starck’s Louis Ghost Armchair and The Componibili, a chic, modular storage system, are sold alongside a constant influx of new plastic (and some upholstered) pieces.
At via Durini you’ll find confort and design by the hands of B&B Italia. The showroom in a renowned building of the 80s has an expressive 1700 m2 exhibition area, making this store an unmissable reference point at the capital of design.
Sophisticated, super soft, international, comfortable, are some of the attributes chosen by B & B Italy in red letters to describe the concept of their brand new collection.
The list of designers who have worked for B&B Italia is huge and full of international design stars: you’ll find geometric vases by Ettore Sottsass, salad bowls by Arne Jacobsen and Antonio Citterio’s famed Otto chairs, all displayed on museum-like plinths around this massive store.
The historic sofa, armchair and accessories manufacturer has undergone a modern transformation under the direction of Patrizia Moroso, daughter of the company’s founder. Creative partnerships with designers like Ron Arad, Marc Newson and Patricia Urquiola have pushed Moroso into exciting new design territories. Today, celebrities and Middle Eastern royalty alike, adore the brand’s edgy designs and fresh vision.
Moroso is showing the designs at the Salone del Mobile, Hall 16 Stand 22/29, in Milan until 13 April.
Contemporary and classic style, interpreted through the elegance of Fendi Casa is what you’ll find in the Showroom Clubhouse Italia at Via Durini 11.
The Luxury Living showroom features the richest and most prestigious collection of furnishings in the world of luxury, and not only from Fendi Casa, but also Kenzo Maison and Bentley Home.
Foscarini opened on April 9 a brand new store located in the heart of the Brera Design District with an installation by Attilio Stocchi – called Seme/Seed. It is a seed of light, a seed of bright flowers, to pay homage to the street where Foscarini Spazio Brera is located.
