One of the coolest features of the Amastan Paris, a 24-room boutique hotel and one of the newest places to stay in the capital, is its Pop-In section, a space dedicated to temporary art and design installations and exhibitions. For the festive period, specifically between December 9th and 24th, the hotel has created Contemporary Games, a pop-up store bringing together three of Paris’ coolest design labels: Studio Marant, Heart Heart Heart, and Tailor Books. It has the feel of an interior design concept store – lots of bright colors and wacky objects – but it’s oriented towards the children’s market. Perfect for interior design lovers, Empreintes is the Haut-Marais’ newest craft concept store, occupying four floors and 600 square meters of a bright, airy building by the Carreau du Temple and the Marché des Enfants Rouges. Moustaches in the Marais is the best store in Paris for pet clothes and accessories. Now, your dogs, cats, rabbits, and budgerigars may not be able to go out and buy you something to put under the tree (and they will probably try to tear this down at some point over the festive period) but they have been giving you love and putting up with your human BS all year and deserve something special just like everybody else!
