“My aim is to create designs and products that are as hardwearing as they are beautiful to look at. Above all, I want them to stand the test of time.” – Nicolette de Waart
Pieced together (to create a flower bed) or perched-on individually, each Poppy Bloom Stool is immediately welcoming. Organically warm and irresistibly tactile with gently rounded edges that are both ergonomically
comfortable and easy on the eye.
Each Poppy has been carefully nurtured by British craftsmen. Fashioned by hand using the finest materials and distinctive durable FEBRIK fabric from the Netherlands. Whether finished in any one of three Poppy Pinks – for a touch of femininity – or the more masculine Prune, the Poppy Bloom Stool adds a unique soft style and will flourish in any interior – home, office or hotel.
Ka is a 100% handmade candle holder. “Ka”, the Japanese word for “fire” refers to the ancient fabrication method of casting, but also to the finished object itself. The term is moreover associated with its function to hold and enlighten a fire, in a beautiful artisan way. In addition, the single units can be arranged for any occasion, from being an eye-catching accessory in a living room or being displayed on a table for a dinner party.
Made in collaboration with highly qualified craftsmen, the daybed has a solid oak base which is available in several finishes; matt waxed, matt varnished or black stained. The upholstery is in Designers guild Varese fabrics which is available in three colours; duck egg, coral and slate. The two bolsters shown are also included in Designers Guild Tiber fabric.
The 100% wool-covered Leaf Seat is a modular concept. Though each one can be used as a stand-alone or a host of Leaf Seats could be combined to create a forestlike effect and would work great in public spaces such as reception areas and galleries.

The units – against the wall, wall-mounted or in room divider form – can stack up or across, in symmetrical rank, or asymmetrical patterns.
“Bookcases have evolved from simply housing books, becoming also a reflection of who people are, and the special things they have in their lives. I wanted to combine the function of storing books with the idea of a cabinet of curiosities. The shape allows people to mix and match the unit of display, putting their own creativity into the process … I used I used very fine, semi-matt, powder-coated sheet metal to create a delicate, high-quality finish, contrasting with its durable, industrial origin.” – Nicolette de Waart
