Longchamp will open this fall a flagship store on Paris’ high-end shopping street, the Champs-Elysees, where all the collections will be shown for your enjoyment.
The opening of the new Longchamp will take place in autumn 2014 at 77, avenue des Champs Elysées, close to the French luxury Parisian institutions and many prestigious hotels in the area. The store, with an area of 500m ² will span two levels to highlight the collections of ready-to-wear, shoes, bags and of course accessories.
Jean Cassegrain, CEO of Longchamp (and grandson of the founder of the house) said that “Longchamp is delighted and proud to open this store in this mythical avenue and give a new impetus to the history of our house. “It will give a new face to the Parisian distribution and ensure a unique international reputation.”
Beyond the French market, this opening will help to increase the international visibility of the house, as in the spirit of openness on Regent Street in London last year.
More new stores are also coming up in the next few months in Munich and Vienna. Moreover, they resume some own home architectural codes, but will include original and unique elements, intending to surprise.
Longchamp continues to grow with the objective of continuing to conquer the world of fashion and luxury. Last year, they reported sales of 462 million euros, a figure it hopes will top 500 million this year, thanks to the new flagship store and successes in the Asian market.
