Dolce & Gabbana: The New Collection of Smeg Kitchen Appliances – The luxury brand D&G and the Italian home appliance company, SMEG, created the exclusive collection of luxury appliances. “Sicily Is My Love” is the name of the exquisite selection of products that includes toasters, citrus juicers, coffee machines, kettles, blenders, stand mixers and slow juicers.
Sicily is my Love is the result of the new creative project that highlights the Sicilian craftsmanship, made by Dolce&Gabbana and the popular kitchen appliances brand, Smeg. This made in Italy project was a way where experts from the worlds of high fashion and design meet and merge to create unique domestic appliances that uncover an Italian story since each and every one of these is inspired by the Sicilian folklore. The hand-painted products not only include symbolic motifs (like Mount Etna) ornamental friezes and decorative acanthus leaves, but also has floral patterns that remind you of D&G’s runway designs.
